Our learning environment

TFCC Bilingual Child Development Center specializes in caring for infants ages 3 to 24 months, providing a safe, warm, and stimulating environment to foster their comprehensive development. Our approach is based on trusting relationships, allowing us to personally support each child's unique growth. Located in Santa Rosa, we are committed to supporting families in our community by offering quality care with bilingual and cultural values.

Infant Care Philosophy

We embrace the PITC program philosophy, which focuses on providing high-quality childcare based on strong relationships, promoting the holistic development of infants and toddlers in a safe, responsive, and culturally sensitive environment.

The PITC guidelines provide teachers and providers with practical strategies to support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and communicative growth, emphasizing the importance of family engagement, consistent routines, and the design of developmentally appropriate environments. Additionally, they emphasize the relevance of cultural and racial context in early parenting and education, as well as the creation of caring bonds between children, families, and staff, ensuring that each child has a reliable foundation to explore, learn, and fully develop.

At the Teresa Bilingual Childcare Center, we offer a safe and nurturing environment that fosters physical, social, linguistic, and cognitive development through pre-math, pre-reading, movement, cooking, and free-exploration art and science experiences. We believe these opportunities are essential for every child's growth, which is why we include at least 120 minutes of outdoor play and learning. Our daily routine integrates peer group learning, respect for oneself and others, and fosters independence, socialization, and teamwork as essential foundations for harmonious development.
